The Union Fire Company maintains a historical museum in part of its old station that was built in 1888.
The museum encompasses two floors with artifacts dating back to its organization in 1789.
Both adults and children will find many articles of interest, including old leather fire buckets, Cairns High Eagle Helmets, meeting documents, and many ribbons.
The museum also houses several other items which tell of the history of both the Union Fire Company and Carlisle. |
