First Crews were sent to Carlisle Hospital for an odor of something burning inside. Crews found a burnt belt in a roof top up. The unit was secured and the box was scaled back.

A few hours later E241 responded to Newville Rd in North Middleton Twp for a reported Bedroom Fire. E241 called out the layout from Mcclures Gap Rd. E241 completed the lay and pulled past the address reporting such to Truck 45. The Engine had normal conditions from a 2 story residential structure. Crews deployed a Crosslay and made entry to the second floor which presented clear visibility. Upon opening the front bedroom door crews found a working fire. Chief 41 arrived and assumed Command 44 requesting the first alarm . E241 crew made quick work of the fire and opened up confirming no extension . The box was quickly scaled back and crews completed work on the second floor. E241 and the Chief operated for 2 1/2 Hours.
