Several brush fires, including our first larger wildfire for the spring fire season were handled.

The strong winds brought a few brush truck runs Friday into Saturday. Several other routine calls were handled throughout the weekend including the previously posted fire on Lincoln Street.

On Saturday Brush 41 w/2 responded to Ladnor Lane in South Middleton Twp (236-101) to assist Company 36 with a 4.1 acre woods fire. The brush was committed for close to three hours working the left flank. The station remained staffed and E141 w/3 took in a stove fire in Middlesex Twp while the brush was still out.

Early Sunday morning around 01:30 Engine 141 w/4 responded to Partridge Circle in North Middleton Twp to assist Company 39 with a small house fire. Crews found the siding burnt up and melted on Side A but the fire was out upon arrival. The engine crew assisted with checking the basement for extension and overhaul.

Another brush fire was handled on I-81 on Sunday in Dickinson Twp.
