Warm Spring day in 1976....E241 is outside awaiting its first brush fire for the day. Dick Smith...Porky Bishop...Rat...Myself....and A J Wise were there. Porky and A J are wrastlin' with the garden hose in front of E1 and Rat is running out to stay out of the melee...GOOD TIMES at the Union! It was typical back in the day to run several grass fires on a few days each year. For some reason that attracted the hang arounds for years.....You could sense a good grass fire day! |
