| Chief 145 and CPD officers arrived reporting a working kitchen fire on the 2nd floor and requested the first alarm. Engine 141 w/6 arrived with Company 45 and took side A with its own water and the crew stretched a 1.75” line for fire attack. The fire was knocked down quickly holding the fire to the kitchen and minor extension to an adjoining bathroom. The engine crew completed searches on division 2 while mutual aid companies checked divisions 1 and 3. No further extension was found, units were on scene for around 1.5 hours. Company 41 had 9 members on scene and an additional 3 at the station. This was FF Powers (front center in the group pic) first fire on the nozzle!
