Today around 8:20 Engine 241 transferred to Adams County Company 6 - Biglerville while they assisted Gettysburg with a power plant fire in Straban Township on Hunterstown Rd

Shortly after arrival at Co6 Engine 241 was dispatched and responded to the scene of the fire. The crew assisted on the fire attack lines relieving the crew from Engine 1-2. Shortly after our arrival Command 1 and the Utility Company decided to cease suppression operations. The crew assisted with loading hose and equipment on Engines 1-2 and 7-2.

Command then requested Engine 241 to transfer to Gettysburg Fire Department while they continue to operate at the scene.

Engine 241 is staffed with 3 interior personnel while an additional 9 interior personnel are covering Station 41. The engine crews have handled 5 calls today so far.
