| Early around 08:00 Engine 241 w/6 responded to Maple Dr in Silver Spring Twp for a garage fire. Upon arrival the Engine was not needed but transferred to Company 31. While on the transfer the Engine responded to a medical assist and an auto accident with entrapment on I81 S @ mm 55.4. The engine crew assisted with stabilization, extrication efforts and patient care. A safety line was deployed off the Engine during extrication. The engine then returned to the Borough after the crash.
***This accident is NOT related to the fatal accident we responded to this morning in South Middleton Twp. That accident is under investigation and no details will be released.***
