Units have been working since just before 3pm.

Last evening E241 (4) and C141 assisted Company 36 with an auto accident on W Old York Rd in Dickinson Twp.

Thursday evening E241 (6), C41 and C141 worked a fuel oil leak from a collapsed tank on Bonnybrook Rd in South Middleton Twp. The incident was turned over to Team 200. Due to the location of the leak it was unable to be stopped so the tank needed to be pumped out. The crew practiced our hazmat skills and contained the leak pictured until Team 200 (Hazmat) arrived.

This is just a snapshot of the different call types we handle on a daily basis. We cover a variety of townships including urban, suburban and rural areas which all bring unique challenges. With the number of calls answered per year, the variety of call types and the constant challenge to think outside the box the Union will always produce good firefighters.
