| Just as the engine was pulling off the ramp 911 upgraded the box to a working fire. C141 (Kline) arrived with a fully involved attached garage fire that was extending into the house. Engine 141 with a crew of 5 (one exterior) arrived in under four minutes with a positive water source on side A. The engine crew deployed several lines including the 2.5ā for fire attack. The B side exposure also began to catch fire and was quickly extinguished resulting in cosmetic damage only. A 360 was completed as well as a primary search by Engine 141s crew in addition to attacking the fire. The family was accounted for and no injuries were reported. Crews accessed the interior quickly with a line keeping the fire from advancing into the house and containing it mostly to the garage. Engine 38 also stretched a handline upon arrival to side C to assist with extinguishment. Control was officially marked around the 20 minute mark once the exposure interior was checked for extension. Crews remained on scene until around 21:30. Thank you to our automatic aid companies for your assistance all hands were working at some point. Company 41 had 10 members on scene. The fire cause is still under investigation but does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
Thank you to Northeast Fire & Rescue for the transfer as always!
