Crews arrived to find a working engine compartment fire. The vehicle was to the rear of the residence and started inside the garage. The owner was able to get the car outside before any fire damage occurred to the building. 41s crew stretched a 200’ crosslay off Engine 241 for extinguishment.

This was FF Khalil’s first time on the nozzle for a fire, he just recently completed his mod classes.

In addition to the car fire Company 41 responded to a smoke from a house call (good intent) and a fire alarm. The company has passed the 1350 call mark, 116 of those calls have been in December.
